Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum
The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum is a beautiful art museum built to display the late 1800s socialite Isabella Stewart Gardner’s extensive art collection. Isabella herself designed the museum in the early 1900s. The museum is located in Fenway and boasts a beautiful courtyard in addition to the artworks. It’s also the subject of the art robbery in 1990, where 13 works worth millions of dollars, including Rembrandts, we’re stolen and to this day never recovered.
